ENCM reconnaissance UAV is a small, man-portable unmanned aircraft that can be used for beyond-visual-range real-time reconnaissance and precision strikes to support small-scale ground forces, changing the current rules of engagement across the world. The main operational modes include capturing territory, anti-terrorism operations, hitting low-speed maneuvering targets, and reverse slope defence. The main targets may consist of enemy personnel, ordinary vehicles, light armored vehicles, missile vehicles, aircrafts, and tank trucks.

This UAV outperforms traditional firepower by effectively engaging hard-to-reach targets. It can quickly locate, track down and strike hard-to-see targets, such as residential housing roofs, building interiors, alleys, hills, mountains, as well as those in other areas with challenging terrain environments. At the same time, it can prevent its user from being detected by enemy forces, significantly improving soldiers' safety and survivability.

This UAV has good flight and precision strike capabilities, providing operators with real-time images and BDS/GPS coordinates for information gathering, positioning, identifying or destroying targets. It makes it difficult to be detected, identified or tracked, even at a somewhat short distance.

It is hard for an enemy to detect the drone and beat a timely retreat, thanks to its low audio-visual signals when hitting targets. All the airfoils can be folded away, and the drone can be launched through different platforms such as those on the ground, in the air, and on ships.

The components

Reconnaissance UAV is made up of two parts, the aerial component and the ground one. The aerial component includes a drone platform, avionics device, airborne data link, and mission load. The ground component consists of the ground monitoring and control system, ground control terminal, and launching device.

The body

The UAV adopts a tandem layout and foldable design, making it suitable for canister launch applications and modular installation. The rectangular front and rear wings can be folded away beneath the fuselage. The V-shaped tail fin, which can be folded forward over both sides of the fuselage, adopts an aerodynamic layout. The upper part has a round shape in order to optimize use of the canister space, and the rest is designed accordingly.
